The East Wing - sleeps up to 10-12
The East Wing sleeps up to 10 people and has 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 1 large and 1 small salon, a dining room and fully equipped kitchen with dining area. It also has its own private outdoor dining terrace complete with barbeque.
The West Wing - sleeps up to 10-12
The West Wing also sleeps up to 10 and has 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 1 large living room, a mezzanine area, a dining room and fully equipped kitchen with dining area. It also has its own private outdoor dining terrace complete with barbeque.
The Cottage - sleeps up to 6
The Cottage sleeps up to 6 people and has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a lounge and fully equipped kitchen as well as a pretty dining area. Like the two Wings of the Chateau, It also has its own private outdoor dining terrace complete with barbeque.
Or take all three accommodation units for up to 26-30 people and have the whole place to yourselves!
Many people hire all three accommodation units together for large gatherings of friends and for family get-togethers. We can also provide you with up to 4 extra fold-out beds to make the maximum capacity increase from 26 to up to 30 people.
There is an interconnecting door joining the two wings which is locked when the wings are rented separately and opened when they are rented together. We even offer a furniture re-arrangement service for people renting both wings together where our staff will reorganise the furniture so that everyone can dine together in the same room.
The East Wing plus West Wing plus Cottage together have 11 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms and sleep up to 26 people. The Chateau's East Wing has four generous bedrooms, four bathrooms and three reception rooms. The West Wing also has 4 bedrooms and sleeps up to 10 people. The pretty 3 bedroomed Cottage in the grounds sleeps up to 6 and can be rented either separately from or in addition to the East and/or West Wing of the Chateau. All properties are very private with their own outdoor terraces with outdoor dining tables and barbecues. They are designed to be enjoyed by three different groups of people but are also ideal to be rented together for larger groups. The superb 30ft by 10ft heated swimming pool is open from April to October (please ask if unclear whether it will be open during your stay).
There is a formal garden at the front of the property, a huge lawned area at the back which is fenced off where it meets the river so children can play safely in the garden. There are coded padlocks leading to bridges over the river to a secret swing garden area, an orchard and a meditation island which is wonderful for relaxation sessions. There is also a large duck pond, home to occasional wild ducks, as well as a large meadow with a 12th century church ruin on it to explore, a donkey named Pepito plus two ponies, Clara and Clarissa to make friends with.
The Chateau has been completely refurbished, retaining masses of original features alongside modern day luxuries. It is spacious, charming and atmospheric. It's not too pretentious - you can really relax here. A holiday here can be spent busily pursuing all the activities on offer in the local area, or simply relaxing in the Chateau and its grounds.
The Chateau accommodation is centrally heated and has its own set of games, toys and books to keep the kids amused while the grown ups relax. These indoor activities along with all that the region has to offer make this an ideal destination for a winter break as well as a perfect summertime destination.
The Chateau's East and West Wings and Cottage are all equipped with satellite TV, including English channels, DVD players and a selection of children's and general DVDs.
