Grandcourt
Chateau de la Vallee and its Cottage are situated on the edge of the rural traditional French village of Grandcourt in Normandy, near to the coast and on the edge of the Forest of Eu. Grandcourt is a pictuesque village, steeped in French tradition with its bakery, bar and one shop which doubles up as a post office. The villagers are very friendly and love to stop and pass the time of day. An aperitif in the local bar is recommended!
Grandcourt is 15 minutes from the coastal town of Criel sur Mer, 8 minutes from the market towns of Blangy sur Bresle and Londinieres, and 30 minutes drive from the cities of Dieppe and Abbeville. It is just 1.5 hours drive from Calais and 2.5 hours to Paris. The nearest airport is Beauvais which has some budget flights to the UK and Ireland.
