The Grounds
There are almost 5 acres of private grounds to explore. At the front of the property are formal landscaped gardens with footpaths and a seating area and to the rear is the large formal lawned area with the large 30 x 10 foot swimming pool. Running alongside the formal lawned area is the pretty river Yres but we have fenced off the whole of this area to make it safe for children. There are 4 gates accessing the river bed and bridges across the river to the rest of the less formal grounds. Two lead to our lovely riverside walk, one leads to a bridge leading to the secret swing garden and the other leads to another bridge which takes you to the orchard area and two further bridges, one leading to our wonderful Meditation Island and the other to the duck pond, another riverside path and the pasture which is home to our two ponies and donkey as well as an ancient church ruin.
